We live in the sunny suburbs of South Carolina. Our family friendly community has a great school system. We have already successfully navigated through our local school system with our son Shaun. We are not far from trips to the beach, lake, and mountains of the Carolinas. We spend time at the beach in North Carolina several times during the year. We have a comfortable home with a pool (and we love pool parties). We have an extra bedroom with attached playroom ready for a little one. We have more than one extra bedroom if siblings were available to adopt.
We love to hang out in our kitchen and make food. Scott is a master with the grill. He can even make homemade pizza on the grill. When he is not grilling, he loves to watch the Food Network on TV. Charlotte excels at baking. She is always trying new recipes from Pinterest (some work out and some do not). Charlotte loves to watch Home Renovation shows on TV. We love to watch movies together as a family and eat popcorn.
We have great weather in South Carolina. We like to have pool parties with friends in our backyard pool. We also like to go to the lake. Several times a year we go to the beach in North Carolina. We love walking on the beach collecting shells, playing paddleboard or frisbee, and making sandcastles. We like body surf in the ocean. We also like to relax and read a good book while watching the ocean waves.
We like to live our Christian faith each day in our home and at work. Scott was raised Catholic and went to Catholic school from K-12th Grade. Charlotte was raised Catholic and Methodist. At Christmas we leave milk and cookies for Santa and carrot sticks out for Santa’s reindeers. We open presents Christmas morning. We love dyeing Easter eggs and having Easter egg hunts. The best present of all is getting together with family to enjoy these holidays.
